Pours clear blonde. SMALL white ring of foam, surprisingly stable. Smell is apple, sharp, tad sweet, straight forward. No funk, rather industrial. Taste is full, apple, intensely carbonated. Not bad, but rather industrial.

75cl bottle from Sainsburys. Pours clear gold, small white head that valiantly persists for a few minutes. Aroma is ripe, lightly stewed cooking apples. Taste is quite rich with more of that metallic element I’ve found in their other ciders. Sweet apple fruit is prominent on subsequent sips, but that metallic element is too off-putting. Nice fancy bottle, but this seems better suited to a can in Lidl.

750ml bottle from Sainsbury’s Darlington. Sparkling yellow gold colour with a white foam head that dissipates away to a thin layer and leaves alittle lacing. Aroma of juicy apple. Taste is apple, sweet, sugary & fruity, woody oak hints, white wine notes, tangy and boozy with light tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry boozy finish. Quite OK.
