22/7/2023. Can shared at SBGP3. From CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is roasted, boozy, vanilla, milk chocolate, cocoa powder, coconut, dark fruits, honeycomb. Medium plus sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Medium to full body, smooth and creamy, soft carbonation. Very nice toasty roasted finish. Enjoyable, hid its abv.

Canned 23/04/21. Black, gluggy, traces of tan head. Smells sweet, coconut, tonka. Thick, smooth, decadent, lightly boozy. Taste is sweet, but not overly so, nice bitter roast. Plenty tonka, soft vanilla, little bit of coconut. Surprisingly subtle. Nice!

440ml can from Hoppily. Poured a clear almost black colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, big coconut, chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, oily, chocolate, coffee, warm alcohol, liqourice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

440ml can. Heavy, sweet and sticky with loads of tonka, creamy notes, marzipan and syrup. Unbalanced and heavy.

440ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Nov 21. Thanks Simon for this big hitting 'final' beer of the night. Always funny to see Jeremy neck a 15% beer before hobbling up the street for the last train. Dark pour, off white tanned head. Sweet aroma. Coconut and honeycomb do come through but it's just a bit too sweet and messy.. And way too strong. Not feeling it myself.

Fun Boy Five: 22nd November 2021, Beer Share in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Five guys splitting beers. The last beer of the evening for me, train to catch: Cheers Simon for this heavy hitter, pity I had to rush my sample. Dark with a tanned top, very boozy with a coconut sweetness throughout. Good one to finish on!

Thick, full of roasty malts and coconut. Boozy as anything. It's great!
