(Cask at King's Arms, Bethnal Green, London, 23 Nov 2024) Dark ruby colour with foamy, tan head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, dried fruit and nuts. Malty taste with caramel, red fruit, raisins, hazelnuts and a mild roasty bitterness. Light body, with a slight sweetness. On the thin side, but overall a tasty and well made mild. Nice one.

Cask at the Head of Steam, Birmingham. Clear reddish-brown, small off-white head. Dark malts, cocoa dusting, some toffee and berry tang. Easy drinking, light, semi-drying, slight spice tingle. No huge depth to this but it ticks the boxes for a light mild quite well.

Cask at the Duke of St Albans, Highgate on 11th October 2024. Deep brown with shallow pale tan foam and spot lacing. Malty aroma. Nutty and roasty malts in-mouth with a few hop notes. A finish of the same, but with late bitterness. A smooth mouthfeel and a light body.
