Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours murky gold with a frothy, white head. Lightly sweet, some nice pissy hops, mellow chalky dryness, nips of diesel, lemon rind, grapefruit pith, oats. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Further pissy hops to finish, oats, pale bread, citrus, mild pine. Nice amount of character for the ABV. And it goes down pretty easy.

Can. Beer Stop Dronfield. CW soup with a CW swede. Nose is twangy and citric. Bit sweaty. Some resinous notes. Fruit salad sweets. Taste has a milky sweetness with punchy citrus and hop spice bitterness. Fairly clean and refreshing despite the soupy appearance, with fine brisk carbonation. Dries out somewhat on the finish, which is nice. Decent tackle and plenty tasty at 4.2%.

On tap at Ebenezer’s, Nantwich. Pours a murky peach with a small white head and good lacing. Creamy apricot and lemon in the nose. Oranges to the fore in the mouth, along with pine and some spices. Quite sharp on the tongue. Peaches come through later on. Finish is dry and buttery. Nicer than it looked, but no my cup of tea.
