Xmas Boozy Bottleshare. Thanks to Cloin. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth but fairly dry dark chocolate, a little vanilla sweetness. Light spicy whiskey. Light dry finish. Fine but there is a gazillion beers doing this and doing it better.

Bought at Liquor Shed in Casper. Bottling..Den 9042, 2nd release.
It pours pitch black with a short lived head of tan foam, not bad with the lacing.
The smell is whiskey, cocoa, coffee, roasted malt, a definite sweetness aboot it.
Pretty balanced taste. Whiskey, roasted malt, vanilla and cocoa, some coffee which I get mostly in the finish. Not overly sweet at all, which is a plus. Alcohol is there but I wouldn't call it hot.
Fullish mouthfeel, creamy.
Very good.

22oz @ Farees'. Appearance: very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: ashy, coffee, some weird farty notes. Taste: moderately sweet, lots of coffee, whiskey barrels with some spice notes coming from Rye barrels. Overall: pretty good, but it's not that good as others.

Dark brown. The aroma is a bit nutty, has a subtle barrel note, maybe some sweet chocolate. Comes across a bit light for its size, and maybe a touch of chocolate, and a little bit of rye. Still seems to come across as a bit light, a miss.

Jet black with a decent light brown head. Intense coffee and light chocolate notes. Chocolate, coffee and light fudge with some caramel notes.

22 oz. bottle, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out plenty of coffee and cocoa, along with plenty of peppery rye whiskey barrels. Flavour is dry and barrel-heavy, with lots of peppery rye whiskey barrels, dry coffee, and a little cocoa. Lots of barrels, dry coffee and barrel character. Another excellent rendition of BBB.
