Bottled. Jet plack with beige head. Quite astringent liquorice, fading nuts, slightly metallic. Malty and roasty. Possibly been saved for too long despite the BBF being well over a year from now.

330ml bottle. Pours jet black with a large head. Aroma is digestive biscuits, toffee and chocolate. Taste has digestive biscuits to start, with chocolate, toffee and coffee on the finish.

33cl Bottle. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, toffee, toasted nuts, cocoa, chocolate. Flavour is medium sweet to sweet, roast, chocolate, toasted nuts, cocoa, toffee, bittersweet finish. Full bodied. Tasty.

Black with a brown head - Good aroma of roasted malt and nuts - Good dark malt body with a good sweet nutty flavour - The malt and nuttty flavour goes into the finish - This was real good

Thick and sweet, with lots of coffee. A bit nutty, I guess, but definitely not gone nuts with them. More cocoa and coffee than anything else. Very tasty, though, but I expected nothing less from these brewers.

Thnx to Ben. Pours black, small Grey ring of foam. Smell is roasty, chocolate, full, tad sweet. Taste is sharp, full, roasty, chocolate, sweet, mild hazelnut, cocoa. Médium to medium full body ( for the style, thick in average) nice carbonation.

On tap at Ale&Hop. Pours black with a tan head. Chocolate, milk, vanilla, strong hazelnut, bit of a boozy thing, plenty of coffee. Good body. Nice.

Bottle. Inky black pour. Aroma of chocolate, licorice, nuts caramel and coffee. Taste has lots of marshmallows, hazelnut, chocolate, licorice, coffee, some hopjesvla and a bitter nutty finish. I really enjoy this.
