Great citrus notes, light tropical fruit. Cereals are soft but balanced, low bitterness, mouth feel light. Brighter version of a normal ipa, also lighter, and extremely drinkable.

This one is palish yellow, opaque, with a weak head. Delicate fruitiness, certainly got those down under hops, and a bit of grass, a bit of sweet orange. On the palate, a touch of sulphury match, but more bright citrus and light Australian hop accents. Pale malt base is light but holds up the hops well enough. Well, I'd say that an archetypical American Pale Ale is SNPA, and this is nothing like that. Archetypical Australian Pale Ale, that I could see an argument for.

12oz (thx, Peter K.!) @ home. Appearance: cloudy pale blonde with a weak white head. Aroma: nice mix of tropical fruits with mango and melon notes. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: refreshing, pretty good.

355ml can. (4.9% ABV) Pours a hazy pink-gold with a medium, foamy, short lived, white head that laces. Sweet fruity aroma of crackery pale malt, grapefruit, passion fruit, peach and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grapefruit peel, tangerine, passion fruit, apricot, peach, cantaloupe, floral and piney hops in a crisp, dry, bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Juicy, refreshing and crushable.

Burdock really need to lable the hop variant on the bottle for this series. According to the website I'm drinking the Vic Secret, Ella, Mosaic and enriched Citra, so I guess they were clearing out the hops cupboard. (We all need a hops cupboard don't we?) It is tasty. Mildly hay malt the supports moderate resin, a little floral, over a base of bitter. The bitter builds on the finish as the other aspects fade out. Pleasant beer. Perfect for sitting on the dock.
