Nice brown slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, deep dark pour. Aroma is slightly rich and dry roasted, toast, roasted grain, oak, mild bourbon, bark, minerals, dark malts, roasted coffee, dark sugar, cocoa, fruit stones, raisins, grass, leather. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish roasted, dark sugar, raisins, mild bourbon, bark, fruit stones, minerals, sour dark fruits, oak, soil, dark malts, alcohol, grass. Medium bitterness, sweet sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Nice one.

Aroma of whisky barrel, dark chocolate, tobacco, coffee, cocoa powder, some liquorice.
Tastes similar, with quite a lot of booze.
Full, very oily, syupy mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes medium boozy, medium dry, roasty, a bit sweet, with whisky, tobacco, cocoa powder.
Tasty. Big, heavy and boozy, but really comfortable and complex. Well integrated whisky barrel, leaving room for lots of other notes. Great sipper.

0,375l bottle at Sanders place shared by me. Vintage 2017. Black colour, small coffee coloured head. Smells of whisky, bourbon, nutty, marzipan, light coconut, light booze, very nice smell. Full body, almost no carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes whisky, earthy, light vanilla, marzipan, bit nutty, light coconut, bitter chocolate, bit peppery, nice wood. Finishes lightly roasty bitter with notes of whisky, bitter chocolate and some nutty notes. Lovely barrel notes, great balance, overall very nice to drink, gets even better when it warms up

Flaska från Mikkeller webshop. Provning med ölsällskapet. Svart med mörkbrunt skum som drar sig undan något. Krämig kola, lätt charkig och rökig med toner av kandisocker, choklad, ek och bourbon. Stor, tjock och krämig kropp med riktigt bra punch och alkoholhetta i. Kvällens största. I smaken ganska sött, men inte överdrivet. Bourbon, kola, choklad, lätt syrliga inslag, lätt chark och rökighet, tjärpastill, likörpralin och marsipan. Riktigt maffig och punchig med bra tryck och sötma. Riktigt rejäl. Kanske något otämjd - men inte nödvändigtvis till dess nackdel! Mycket gott!
