Dark tan head; brown-rimmed black beer. Chocolate and cocos. Bar of chocolate with some cream-cocos-vanilla filling. Bitter chocolate and sweet cacao-flavoured beer. Vanilla, Bourbon. Alcoholpunch, pretty raw, over-pastried; decent carbonation. I really don't understand what people see in this type of beer. Txs to Stef!

Can from Geers.
A: hazy black, thin, beige head.
A: mocha, marshmallow, liquorice, cookie, cacao nib.
T: sweet cookie, chocolate & caramel; bitter coffee.
F: coffee roast, burnt cookie, some spices, warming liqueur-like alcohol.
P: medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Surprisingly balanced for a 'marshmallow Stout'.

Pours black, medium sized, darkly tanned head. Scent is thick, chocolate, sweet impression. Bit fatiguingly cloying, some buttery aspects (to represent the coockies I guess) . Taste is surprisingly balanced. Some highly appreciated bitterness balances out the very sweet base. Very malty (roasty) as a base, milder on the pastry. Medium thick to thick body, medium to medium low carbo. Very decent, proving once again the average quality of Galea's stouts are quite high for a BE brewery (or beer company, if you wanna get strickt about it). On the other hand, it definately doesn't come close to his masterpieces. Finish is medium long, but not nearly (!) as cloying as the scent is/makes you think the taste will be. Lovely, but the scent is by far the loosing feature.

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lovely, lots and lots of caramel, sweet chocolate, vanilla notes. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet, lots of caramel, bitter, chocolate, little roasted, bitter. Aftertaste: sweet and malty, vanilla notes, some chocolate, sugary, little bitter, nice one!
