Pours dark, unclear amberbrown. Tiny ring of foam. Smell is intense, caramel, malty, nutty undertone. Taste is sharp, bit boozy, oak, nutty, caramel. A great sipper.

Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours cola color with a slight beige smear. Aroma is marvelous. How to parse it. Dark fruit, rye spice, treacle, and mayhap many other things. Wowser! Full + bodied. Flavor is treacle, dark fruit, rye spice, and definitely many other things. Wowser! Milwaukee comes back in force!!! Damn but this is wonderfully, marvelous ale. Yum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to Bob for sharing this one. Very sweet with brown sugar and malt. Lots of alcohol in the aroma, flavor, and on the palate. Thick and heavy. I tend not to like beer aged with whiskey, but this was good.

Bottle shared by Bob, thanks! Pours a clear deep amber with an off-white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of toffee and maple with some sweet grains and whiskey barrel supported. Flavor is thick caramel with notes of toffee, maple, sweet grains and whiskey supporting.
