pours clear, dark caramelly copper. Decent white head, seems rather stable, bit creamy. Aroma is medium intense. tad metallic, nice dark bread, bit caramel, some spiced notes, like gingerbread, or - more accurate- what we call 'speculoos' . Taste is a tad bitter, but mostly sweet. Caramelly, toffee notes, dark earthyness, rather creamy, forest leaves, no metallicness here. Tad sharp, perhaps, by the bitter back, that really lifts the beer up from an otherwise boring, sweet, sticky brown beer ( like we don't have those enough already ) So i'd say this is pretty well made. Not overly different, but a well-balanced take on a classic double.

Clear red brown beer, creamy small beige head, unstable, bit adheisve. Aroma: lots of banana, caramel, some chocolate, sweetish. MF: lively carbon, too much to be enjoyable, medium to light body. Taste: caramel, malty, some chocolate, soft roast, malty, some alcohol noticeable. Aftertaste: bit sweet, lots of caramel, banana, some dried fruits, milk chocolate.
