Consider Moral Panic the smaller, lower ABV but no less tasty little brother of our go to NEIPA ‘Space Hopper’. Still packed with a heap of Cryo Citra hops to give that classic tropical, zesty punch whilst lowering the ABV to bring the output to session-able levels.

Expect subtle aromas of Mango, Lychee and Citrus backed up with flavours of Pineapple, Passion Fruit bitterness and Peach.

Cask at Petersgtae Tap, Stockport. Pours hazed gold pour with a white foam. Aroma: peach, citrus, tropical fruit. Taste: moderate sweet & bitter, mango, pineapple, peach, pink grapefruit. Medium body with soft carbonation. In banging condition, this was an excellent expression of Citra.

--Cask at The Greyfriar, Reading. -- Murky straw colour. Generous aroma of mango and papaya. Mid sweet with light to medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with mango puree and lychee. Some hop burn. Low bitterness. The hop burn disturbs.

Handpull cask from the Blue Boar, Leicester. Deep gold with a reasonable haze. Light soft citrus aroma. Some tangerine pulp and a little bit of pink grapefruit. Taste is sweet, I'm getting a nice hit of peach and maybe some cherry. Light bitterness in the finish but this is a pretty sweet beer all in all. Oily body with soft carbonation. It's quite good.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a hazy golden colour with a short-lived, bubbly white head. The aroma is malt, gluey toffee yeast. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a smooth, juicy tutti frutti citrus, light, slightly watery, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Beer No Evil. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy, white head. Smells like vinyl in the sun. Impressively, and sadly, it also tastes like vinyl in the sun. The first sip was unpleasant. So was the second sip. Against my occasionally better judgement, I kept sipping. If I really dig around, I find some citrus fruit notes. But the vinyl-plastic-soapy notes are overwhelming. This is a beer that has not gone well. Somewhere, at some point, something went bad wrong. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lingering plastic in the finish, faint rindy citrus, lemon peel. It brings me no joy in saying this beer is terrible.

On tap at Craft Beer Oasis, Crewe. Pours a hazy straw colour with minimal foamy white head, but good lacing. There’s vague citrus leanings in the aroma, but not much else. There’s a decent amount of hop induced fruit flavour in the mouth. Mango and torpical fruits are the mainstays, but also traces of grapefruit, orange and nuts. Texture is a bit scummy though. Finish is slightly dry. A decent enough beer.
