Can split at the Watford Tasting, 11/03/22, picked up from an online peddler. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is dried fruit rinds, mellow roast, cocoa powder, charred effect. Taste comprises roast malts, light pine needle, dried fruit rinds, charr, cocoa powder, burnt toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with dusty hop bitterness. Passable CDA.

Can shared in Watford - cheers to Cloin. Pours clear brown with a frothy, off-white head. Light-medium sweet flavour, fairly chalky and dry, some well toasted malts, burnt pine, mild roast. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dry finish, bitter, lightly ashy. Alright.
