Merci beaucoup à Graham pour ce cadeau. Je restais sur une très mauvaise impression des stouts avec noix de pecan et mon appréhension était grande en ouvrant cette Nerdbrewing, imperial porter de 11,2 % intégrant des fèves de cacao et donc des noix de cajou. Heureusement, cette fois ci les noix de cajou sont bien mieux dosées et ne sont pas écœurantes sur une base solide. En verre nous sommes sur un noir total (EBC de 120), sans mousse ni effervescence. Le nez est sur le moelleux au chocolat, le café et une noix de pécan subtile. A l'attaque, on découvre une bonne densité avec une texture suave. Les arômes sont pleins sans être extrêmement intenses. Une légère astringence se fait ressentir accompagnée d'arômes de charbon qui viennent s'ajouter à ceux de chocolat, café et noix de cajou. L'alcool, à 11,2 % se ressent peu avec un sucre un peu trop présent. Petit bémol également sur le final qui est peu intense. Pour une bière de 6ème anniversaire, ce Continue est très honnête.

Sensory Session #56: Opaque black color and a nice tan head. Nose of roasted malts and dark coffee. Less sweet aroma than expected: bitter dark chocolate, nutty and faint molasse. Aus der Flasche im 2022-03 getrunken. Dieses Porter hat eine beige Schaumkrone und eine fast ölige Konsistenz. In der Nase ist gleich die hochprozentige Schokolade mit ein Hauch von grüner Paprika und Sojasoße zu entdecken. Am Gaumen dominiert die dunkle Schokolade und bleibt im Abgang fast ewig.

33 cl bottle. Dark brown colour, coffee foam. Aroma: chocolate, nuts, vanilla, cashews, sweet. Sweet taste, chocolate, nuts, vanilla, powerful, warms, good.

Tap at Valhalla Prague. Very dark brown to pitch black body, almost no head. Fine, beavy aroma, berry jam and cocoa, a bit oily. Lean, elegant tasty, cocoa with berry underones, creamy, hiding its strength well, leaving some toasty bitterness near the end. Not sweet really, just some cocoa-roast bitterness in the aftertaste and on the tongue. Class!

Bottle from Glasbanken. Black with beige head. Roast, chocolate, creamy nuts with a touch of coconut and banana. Fairly sweet. Great stuff!
