Sample, many thanks to Danlo for this! Pours a clear, very pale yellow. Aroma is strong, floral with an applewine feel. Taste delivers the expected strength, lovely rich apple tartlet, racy acidity with pleasant soft gooseberry, distant chardonnay and delicate apple nuances. Exquisite.

3/2/2022. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear bright golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is green apple, musty, tart, white grape, slightly twiggy. Moderate sweetness and tartness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Boozy warming finish. Enjoyable.

568ml (Imperial pint) wired cork bottle, birthday present from Margaret. Vintage 2018. Opened with a pop. Sparkling, pale yellow gold colour, big foamy white head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of musty apple, fleshy, some sugar. Taste is sweetish, fleshy apple, some skin, with white wine, yeast hints, tart acidity and tangy boozy notes. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry acidic boozy finish. Quite drinkable.
