At Wander Beyond we have focused on brewing unconventional, interesting and different beers. Byway Boulevard is no different. We have taken the concept of a traditional English Bitter and turned it on it's head. We brewed a standard English Bitter to a traditional-style recipe before ageing the beer for nearly half a year in a mixture of Speyside ex-bourbon whisky and Speyside ex-sherry whisky casks. After maturing the beer, we've blended each barrel back together and released the resulting beer on cask only. Light yet very complex, Byway Boulevard has notes of oak, cherries and raisins before finishing with a slightly spirity dry finish.

Served as real ale at The Knott Manchester. A nice mild bourbony note makes it stand out. Clean, balanced, and not too bitter
