330 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Orange colour, moderate to small white head. Weird and revolting aroma of lactic acid and star anise. Fizzy mouthfeel. Sour flavour, lactic acid and loads of star anise, nothing else. Drainpour. I can't believe I paid good money for this crap.

Bottle. Almost clear golden body under a medium sized white head. Aroma is totally dominated by star anise and then some lemon juice to be found after the fist anise shock. Taste is too dominated by star anise and licorices, then some lemon and fruit drops. Medium body and same aftertaste. Not all bad all the way over, but couldn’t finish the bottle.

330ml can, lot 218, picked up at Gulating Ølutsalg, Grünerløkka. Pours a pearl white head, clear amber body, clingy lacing. Distant smell of liquorice, slightly tart. Strange taste profile of slightly tart fruity liquorice. Ends more sweet than tart. About drinkable, but I did not empty the can. (Hotel room, Oslo 19.01.2022).

Luke 20, en 0,33 flaske fra nissekompaniet i Lars Hertervigs gate: klar, rødlig kobber med fint skum som varer. Sursyrlig aroma og smak uten sjarme. Smaken bringer frem barndomsminner om mormors pastiller. Stjerneanis er ikke en ingrediens jeg kommer til å benytte meg av i hjemmebryggingen.

Bottle. An almost clear one, dark golden in color, with a dense dark beige head. Some lacing. Quite heavy on the star anise in the aroma, borderline licorice, with a candy touch. It's medium to full-bodied, nicely carbonated and dry and sour, with the flavor too driven by star anise. Fruity, spiced and bready, with a too bready, almost wort like finish feeling slightly sickening. Sure a strange one. Like some of it, but overall it's not to be repeated. 211126

Håndverkeren 121121. Deep golden-orange color with a white head. Aroma is sourness, star anise. . Flavor is sourness, star anise, lemon, bred, yoghurt. Iam not a fan of star anise.
