AROMA: medium-high roasted aroma with notes of dark chocolate, medium-low nutty and very faint coffee and sulphur. medium peppery alcohol and a sweet backgournd. APPEARANCE: very dark brown color and opaque with slight ruby highlights. Medium light creamy brown head with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with a dark chocolate flavor, followed by medium-low nutty notes. sweet background. medium-low bitterness with a semi-sweet and slightly roasted finish. PALATE: medium-full to full body with a velvety texture. moderate carbonation. no astringency. OVERALL: a very good sweet stout but with very shy to absent coconut.
