KYGGE 220423. Amber color with a beige head. Aroma is alcohol, caramel, bourbon, dried fruit. Flavor is alcohol, caramel, bourbon, dried fruit, toffee, spices. Nice beer.

Superficial sample from Gunnfryds ticker party. Unclear dark golden body under a small, lacing beige head. Aroma has malt, caramel, dry fruit and toffee. Taste is sweet with malt, toffee, dry fruit and warming alcohol. Balanced body with pleasant aftertaste. Nice one.

Can. It's a lightly hazy one, deep golden in color, borderline amber, with some white bubbles. Booze, caramel, dark dried fruit, dried peach and some rye-like spicyness. It's full-bodied, warming, oily and very lightly spiced on the palate. Dark dried fruit, toffee, booze, spiced hints and peach in the flavor. Lasting finish. A pleasant barley wine indeed. 230422

Pours slightly hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes malt, caramel, alcohol and dried fruits. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, malty, dried fruits and caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Amber with off white head - Malt with wood and dark fruity aroma - Malt body with wood flavours and some dark fruity flvours as well - Malt and wood barrel flavous goes into the finish - This was good, but a little to much wood

Can from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dried fruit and bourbon. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with a little warming alcohol. 140223

Can 0.33l at the brewery. Cloudy, red amber colored. AROMA- bourbon, berries, raisins. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, lightly bitter, warming, raisins, bourbon, brandy, caramel, plum, berries. Fuller bodied. Really good.

330 ml can, No. 11735 / 13000, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 9%. Reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of bourbon and oak, notes of fusel alcohols. Sharpish oaky flavour, notes of bourbon, hints of fusel. Not entirely successful.
