On tap at Port Street Beer House, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with marshmallow, with very light roast and some gritty earthiness. Flavour is monolithically marshmallow — nothing else really. Lots of malt, medium sweetness, maybe some sugars. But it's not complex and not all that great flavour wise. Okay, I guess, but I'm not a fan of this marshmallow character.

A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head . In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, vanilla, alcohol warmth, light banana esters, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, banana esters, very nice and rich. On tap at Drunken Dog Condesa.

15th June 2022 Pretty much an opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Nose is enticing vanilla dark chocolate with touches of coffee and smoke. Smooth palate, airy, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy dark malts, nice vanilla laden chocolate ganache vibe. Marshmallow? Yeah a bit but you can see the lactose. The sweetness, which is not over sweet to begin with, is kept in check by mellow coffee. The smoke is very very mellow. Fairly smooth and light finish. Nice job. Pohjala seem to have a knack for doing something a little different but making it feel like there is a fundamental rightness from the get go. Tres drinkable.

Draft at The Wolf, Birmingham. Poured almost black, with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is big roasty malt, light alcohol. marshmallow. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, oily, sweet marshmallow, vanilla, lactose, light liqourice bitter palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation.

Bottled 330ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized beige head that went away fast, light smoke and vanilla in the nose. Light roasted malt, marshmallow, light smoke, notes of vanilla and lactosewith some dried fruits or berries in the finish. Discreet alcohol.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark, almost black, with limited but stable brown foam, very fine. Aroma is of licorice most of all, molasses. Body is average in density, with limited carbonation, and quite oily. Taste is fairly sweet, even persistent enough. Final is still fairly sweet.
