Oaky, almost over-oaked, with a ton of woody bitterness coupled with date, toffee, caramel, and bourbon, underlines by a vinous note. Kinda simple, really, nothing surprising save for the oak. Decent.

Bottle at home. Pours deep orange amber, nose is caramel, marmalade, vanilla, oak, burnt toffee, nutty, taste is similar, piney, a weird minty flavour.

Red brown with a huge fluffy head. Toffee, cherry, raisin, caramel, honey, bread and a boozy presence. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

My kind of beer. Lighter in color, more complex than the OG. Strong toffee, stone fruits. Any beer that pairs well with bleu cheese is a winner.

12 oz bottle. I was expecting this to be a stout, so I was a bit surprised when it poured out a clear copper color with an off-white head. Malty caramel aroma, dark fruit, bourbon. Red grape, malty toffee and caramel, bourbon. It's quite tasty, even if it isn't a stout.
