For this version of our Deliverance Double IPA series, we’ve created a spicy and full bodied DIPA using two different types of rye within the malt grist. Amarillo and Citra give a pleasant citrus backbone, with Summit and Columbus dry hops bringing notes of pepper, pink grapefruit and pine, rounded out by a marmaladey bitterness.

Can ordered from Seeks Beer, Godalming. Oooh... aroma is aromatic... combines rye, and resin amd citrus for pumped up marmalade. Hazy-opaque ambet. Foamy translucent white head. The flava mirrors the aroma - resinous spicy marmalade. Medium bodied. Oily. Sticky residue. Average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Great stuff.

440ml can from Craft & Berry. Gluten Free. Bright orange gold colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of tropical fruit, orange marmalade, resiny hop. Taste is malt, caramel, citrus fruits, grapefruit, pine, spicy rye notes, woody, peppery and some hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry spicy bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Can, by way of one of the very fine beer purveyors we have in Sheffield. Moderate haze on a deep orange gold. Super sticky lasting white foam. Nose has all the dank and resinous. Big ripe citrus. Spicy rye malt. Minty herb. Taste is sweet first off. Big hit of resinous and piny bitterness. Rich and smooth. Fine carbonation. Huge bitterness to finish. Definitely the best beer Abbeydale have put out in a while.
