Tip Tap draught, 5/6/23. Dark, inky, minimal head. Coconut, maple, tastefully done, fudgey, some ash, some vanilla, pretty low bourbon. Soft, malty but not thick and too sweet on account of the maple. But it's not a booze or sugar bomb, which is surprising for three Floyd's. Less maple residual sugar, a bit more heft to the body and more bourbon would be nice.

Coconut is light. More whiskey, and light soy sauce, but not anywhere near dark lord. Chocolate and booze. Black pour with decent head. Coconut and chocolate tang finish. Bottle.

Tap at the brewery taproom Philadelphia PA. A jet black coloured pour with a halo of dark tan head. Aroma is choco. Oily. Black chocolate, oily, black liquorice, burnt cake boozy, dried fruit cake. Palate is medium sweet, sticky fruit cake, mellow carbonation, layered malts, subtle bourbon, vanilla oak, vanilla. Nice.

Jesus, what a monster. Deep veins of milk and dark chocolate, raisin, baking spice, cherry cordial, coconut, and plenty of bourbon in the finish. Mild notes of oak and pine pop up in the fade. Thick and rich, but surprisingly mild for a 15% beast. Sweetness nears critical mass as it warms. Good, but 12oz. is more than plenty. Best shared with a couple of friends.

12 ounce bottle, 11/1/22. Can't recall where I got it. Black, medium dark brown head, below average retention. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, coconut, molasses. Taste is coconut, roast, chocolate, raisin, vanilla, bourbon, oak. Full bodied. Booze very well hidden. Well balanced. Quite nice.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2022. Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of coconut with light roast, dark grains and a bit sweet chocolate backing. Flavor has a coconut and chocolate combination with a bit of barrel and sweet dark grain backing.
