Can from Aldi. Aroma of chocolate, orange and does what you would expect it to do. A bit carbonated for my liking but not bad.

Can from Aldi, Coleshill. Pours black, small beige head, some retention. Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, orange extract, does have a chocolate orange nose to it. Chocolate malts dominate the taste at first and then that orange element comes in, quite sweet with a modest roastiness. Simple but tasty on repeated sips. Its good for the price, slightly artificial but there is enough good malt ingredients here to make it an honest beer.

25/8/2024. Can shared by ITFCfan. From Aldi, Martlesham Heath. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma is Terry’s chocolate orange, light roasted malt, caramel, ash, cointreau. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness, touch tart. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Best of the bunch.

[44cl can from Aldi, Bracknell.] An opaque peaty brown coloured pour with a tight caramel coloured head; chocolate orange aroma; thin, milky body with a chocolate orange taste; and a lightly bitter, dark chocolate finish. Very drinkable.

(Can) Pours dark brown with ruby highlights and a short lived tan head. Pleasant aroma of dark roast grain, chocolate, and hints of orange. Medium body with good carbonation. Good taste. There’s plenty of dark chocolate and orange flavour overlaid on dark roast grain. The mix works well. The orange flavour is more like the flavouring in a chocolate orange than the zingy citrus of the actual fruit, however this works well with the chocolate as a familiar pairing. There’s some bitterness in the finish. Enjoyable and a pleasant surprise.

440ml can; BB 30th September 2022. Drank at home on 23rd March 2022. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard, it looked fine; beige foaming head on a deep ruby brown body. Chocolate aroma and taste, Terry's Chocolate Orange aftertaste. Had a lot worst for a whole lot more money when trying this sort of style. Scored without prejudice!

Can from Aldi Supermarket, Salford. Black with a bubbly off-white head. Although there's plenty of chocolate and orange to enjoy in both aroma and taste there's definitely a thinness to its texture.

Can at home picked up from from Watford Aldi. A nut brown coloured pour with a lasting mid tan head. Aroma is harsh orange oil flavouring, bitter chocolate powder , salty, brown bread. Flavour is composed of bitter cocoa, drinking chocolate, orange oil, bitter grapefruit. Palate is citrus oil, semi sweet, light tang, fine carbonation. Meh.
