Bottle drunk with toasted croutons and goat cheese with herbs de provence and maple syrup. Medium dark brown with a moderate tan head. Nose is musty brown sugar and caramel. Pretty bright on the tongue, sweet at first with mild notes of berry fruit sourness which fades to a dark caramel/ slightly roasty aftertaste. Not a lot of hop bitterness and the finish is a bit thin, but overall it's tasty! Pretty good with my croutons.

Bottle. Cloudy dark red brown, brown cream. Berry aroma, Dubbel roast, melanoidin and wooden funk in the aroma. Medium to light body, surprisingly thin, wooden dryness, somewhat sparkly. Fruit sugars/juice on the forefront, tart plum, strawberry, light yeast notes heading towards the malt in the back. Not sure about this combination, but certainly a interesting experiment.

Dark brown. Aroma is raisin hibiscus cherry cookie dough yeast. Taste is sweet melasses with boozy phenols and some cherry like fruited sourness and yeasty backbone. Heavy and lightly boozy. Decent coplexity. Alright.
