Short 0,33 l bottle. BB 02.02.2024. Cloudy pale amber in the glass, small white head. Pale grain with straw on the nose, some herbs. Taste starts on the pale grainy side, increasing malty, dried dark fruits and alcoholic. Some sweetness. I expected more deepness.

Techtelmechtel Eisbock, Fläschchen aus Tausch mit Pivnizub - Dank an Dr. H. aus BO. - Rotbraun, trüb. - In der Nase fette, sirupartige Süße, Hustensaft, Orangeat, Kräuterbonbon. - Antrunk sirupartig malzsüß mit Anklängen an Hustensaft, Bitterorange, solide herbale Hopfung mit mediterraner Note. Mild rezent, mastig; schlecht kaschierter Alkohol, likörartig.

Trockener Abgang. Irgendwie unnötig. 8/7/5/5/10/6

0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before February 2023. Slightly hazy, ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, just slightly fruity aroma of nuts, grains, caramel and traces of raisins. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a bit fruity taste of caramel, grains, nuts and hints of raisins, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly boozy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very monotonous for an Eisbock, hardly fruity, very simple for 10.5% abv.
