In 1810, the Oktoberfest tradition was born when Munich celebrated the Crown Prince’s wedding with a special beer and 16 day party. Our version of this classic style blends rich malts for a hearty, smooth flavor with notes of caramel creating a brew that’s perfect for the season, or whatever you’re celebrating.

Vague hints of nuts, modest head and clear bronze body. Flavour is weak hints of caramel. Smooth but uninteresting.

Tap at Logan Terminal E. It pours clear deep amber with a small white head. The nose is sweetish, caramel, toffee, fudge, toasty grain, brown bread and cereal. The taste is bitter - sweet, toasty, toffee, salted caramel, bread, cereal and nut with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Simple, but drinkable enough.

Flaska från SB. Lätt kakig och karamellig arom. Börjar sött med lite antydan av honung som sedan matchas av en ren beska.

330ml bottle from B&M Bargains - Rich orange -brown body with a fluffy white top. Sweet malty nose with subtle hop aroma, then a roast malty body with burnt toffee, hints of oranges and roast nuts and then a dry-ish and a sweet lasting end. For 79p - superb.

Old rating. Bottle from Old Town. Pours an amberish red with an off-white head. Nice toasted malt and toffee aromas present on the nose with a slight bit of citrus noticeable. Sweet on the palate with a light body. Fairly refreshing. Not bad.

Pours from a bottle copper with a medium off-white head with medium bubbles. Aroma is of caramel, flavor is of same, some bitterness towards end. Mouthfeel is full, almost buttery. Good beer.
