750ml bottle pours out crisp clean golden topped with a small fizzy head. Nose is nice light stone fruit barrel funk and a little spice. Taste is more of the nice sweet stone fruit earthy must and barrel funk.

Bottle in Tokyo. Pours a clear copper color with a large white head. A big fruity nose, wood. Big tannins, oak, fruity apricots, sharp wild brew, yeasty, pungent fruity base. Sharp, but very smooth. Lively palate.

Taster showing pale amber with a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows clean intense round notes of sweet yellow peach and grassy hay. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Moderately tart with intense peach and apricot forwardness. Strong acidity throughout.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is fruit forward with some nice citrus notes and hints of pineapple, passion fruit and guava. Light phenolic spice notes with a light oak note as well. Pours a fairly clear, bright, golden orange with a medium sized, medium thick, frothy, white head that exhibits alright retention as it recedes somewhat quickly to the edges where it lingers for a bit. No lacing or legs. Flavor is moderately acidic with a light sharpness to it. A bit of sweetness and grain notes. Moderate fruit notes with citrus being most prevalent, but also some tropical fruit. Light phenolic notes and hints of oak. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, its an alright beer but the acidity is a bit strong and sharp for me. The fruit notes are nice and while strong, are not crazy dominant. The spice adds some nice phenolic notes to balance the fruit and acidity.

Tasting at SF, cork
Cloudy golden color. The aroma is dominated by the spices, maybe fennel, nettle, mint, asian nuts; a lot going on, nothing you really want in beer. The acidity is pleasant, the mouthfeel is smooth, the flavor is a bit lemony, but bordering soap.
Such a messy beer….

Capped 750 shared by Marcus. Pours copper with little head. Aroma is fruity with very mild sour. Med body at least. Flavor suggests tart citrus with some pale stone fruit. A touch of oak astringency. A possible bit of pedio or lacto in the finish. Very pleasant and pleasing.
