CBJ Tasting. Can. Thanks to Cloin for the can. A light haze on this amber beer, small tan head. Tastes like a 70s aged beer. Boxy caramel. Ripe fruits. Light finish. Tastes very aged.

Can shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. A clear brown coloured pour with a lasting a loose tan head. Aroma is semi sweet nutty, hazelnut, alcohol. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, hazelnut, bruised grape, dried fruits, sherry. Palate is semi sweet oily,

(Can, 0.33l, thanks Hermod, at VastActiv, 20240112) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had toasted malts, wood and vanilla. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, wood, vanilla, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was woody and bitter. Nice.

Blik 33cl thuis. Caramel, kandij, rozijn, pruim, chocoladetonen, maltig, vrij zoet, wat kruidig, redelijk plakkerig. (18-12-2023).

Dark, dark brown with a beige head. Caramel aroma. Nuts. Taste is mildly bitter with a lingering sweetness. Body to the full side of medium, mild carbonation. Surprisingly simple. Not among the best beers of the style.
