7/V/18 - 33cl bottle from a trade, shared with my wife @ home - BB: 1st Q/IX/19 (2018-679) Thanks to Bierridder_S for the trade!

Clear dark blond to orange beer, big solid creamy yellowish head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity, bit metallic, some banana, pears, slightly smoky, little peated. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: pretty smoky start, lots and lots of chocolate notes indeed, soft bitterness, bit sweet, more chocolate, some ripe banana. Aftertaste: soft roast, chocolate, coffee, bit sweet, caramel touch, more smoke but more subtle now, slightly fruity, sour touch, some orange peel or something similar.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 09/2019. Dorée, col blanc-cassé. Arôme aux effluves bien fumées assez dominant, léger effet citronné vert en rétro avec un petit fleuri sur un rappel plutôt noble des houblons. Note aussi un côté anisé et peu d'effet de chocolat et encore du lactose. Palais est malté, finement fumé avec une fine douceur provenant du lactose, là, le côté chocolaté est plus marqué tout en restant subtil. Amertume moyenne plutôt dans un effet noble allemand, retrouve qcq effets café grillé sur la fin plus que l'aspect chocolaté. Rondeur de bouche sur la fin avec une belle amertume fleuri et feuille.

Pours unclear, darker blonde. Small but seemingly stable white head. Smell is tad smoked, bit sweet. Taste is sharp, smoked, but not overly so. Fleshy. very mild coffee. Tad bitter. OK. Bit sweet.

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2017. A slightly hazy deep golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of smoked dark brown malt, herbs. Taste of mild sweet caramelish malt, sweet malt, fruity.

Draught at the bar. Dark gold with a full head. Aroma of smoked malt and yeast. Flavour is sweet malt, light smoke, milky chocolate, fruity finish.

From tap at the brewery. Hazy golden color with white head. Malty aroma, smoked, caramel, some chocolate, hoppy, grassy notes. Sweet and light to moderate bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Bottle from BBP. Almost clear dark golden with a white head. Aroma of mild smoke, malt and some chocolate. The same in the taste, also with hints of yeast. A decent one although a bit odd.

18/10/2017 @home - 33cl bottle from the brewery. Clear dark yellow, medium head. Nose is malts, smoke, bit yeast. Taste is first fleshy smoke, sweet malts, milk chocolate. Later a bit sticky sweet ans smoke more hidden.
