Our true-to-style Belgian blond ale highlights the lightly spicy phenolic character of its yeast, tempered by a gentle pilsner malt profile. This beer is a light sipper, with notes of honeysuckle, pepper, and clove. A lumen is a physical unit of "luminous flux,” or a measure of the visible light emitted by a source. Hazy dull tan. No head. Sort of a vegetable footy nose, some plasticy phenols and sticky malts.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours rather clear blonde, nearly no head. Smell is yeasty, sweet. I can almost smell the coriander. Well, it might not be something I love, but at least they so what they try to do, as this does smell Belgian. Taste is bit bitter. yeasty. oh so yeasty... Belgian style ! Just, add a tad more Sugar and sediment to get a real Mediocer Belgian beer. truth be told though, for what they tried to do, they succeeded pretty well, and I can understand why people in the US would love this. As a Belgian though, this one doesn’t make much scence.

Minimally-hazed, light blonde-golden body topped by a large white head that shows moderate retention.
Grains, cereal, light clove and white pepper give a pretty authentic Belgian Blonde ale impression. Low on the hops, with perhaps some light grass and hay. Malts are a little bit "sweet" from the nose but not too much so and there is no alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it’s lightly sweet with a sticky, honey-and-caramel character that builds up on the palate somewhat. In concert with the clove and white pepper, as well as dry nectarine notes, it’s a bit fatiguing by the end. Very carbonated with no alcohol or flaw noted.
