Bottle from a Delhaize in Bruges. Pours clear dark brown with a lasting, foamy, off-white head. The aroma contains caramel, herbs, yeast, dark fruits and something very particular - might be an earthy quality. It tastes medium sweet and light bitter. Creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Good enough.

Pour clear, very dark caramelly brown. Small white head. Smell is somewhat sweet, some caramel. taste is sharp, rather bitter, dark malts, caramelly. Bit sweet. OK, rather common taste, but nothing off or not good.

12/06/2015 @home - 33cl bottle from a trade with tderoeck. Dark colur, nice tanned head. Smoke, some roast, in the nose. Taste is smoke again but very enjoyable, some bitterness, light licorice.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours cloudy brown with a thin white head. Aromas of smoke, tar, toffee. Taste is light sweet, more smoke. Dry finish.

Bottle at craig’s. Pours deep amber, nose is light smoke, toffee wood, taste is sweet, caramel, light fruit.

Clear purple brown beer, creamy beige dense irregular head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: smoky at first, pretty sweet, caramel, bit sugary, overripe banana, some peated whisky malts. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very smoky and peated start, overripe banana, some dark chocolate, bit hoppy. Aftertaste: banana peel, spicy touch, pretty peated and smoky still, bit sugary, more banana. I like the smoke/peat touch, but not sure if the crowd will dig this. On the other hand, maybe they'll never even notice.
