Pretty sweet, with lots of raisin juice. Little bit of christmassy spice thrown in adds complexity. Body could be better, and there's something missing to turn it from a fairly good stout into a great one. More spice? Chilli? Barrel?

(750ml bottle from Mikkeller Webshop shared) Pours black with an average dark tan head and spotty lace. Aroma is savoury spicy notes, feels like an herb meets spicebox vibe, raisins, chocolately roast, coffee, ash. Flavour is rather sweet, mix of dusty, earthy roasty malt, some raisins in coffee, spicebox, light nutmeg and cinnamon, bit peppery, cacao husks, a little bittering hop greenness, dry finish. Medium bodied, oily, fairly softly carbonated. Better balanced than Dirac for me, thanks to the amount of roast here that evens out the significant sweetness.

Capped 750 from Corti Bros. Pours very dark brown with a slight very dark tan head. Aroma of dark fruit and unfamiliar spice. Dark treacle. Arguably full bodied. Flavor is chocolate, dark fruit and something earthy that could be coffee. This is strongly flavored, but it's hard for me to parse the flavors. Far from dry, but somewhat earthy bitter. Nice stuff.
