Bottle from Star Grocery in Berkeley. Pours light gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is a bit bread, and there seems to be fruity hop. Med body with frothy/foamy carb. It’s actually quite bitter. Seems to be mostly noble hop bitter, but maybe a little fruit. The flavor strength is pretty amazing.

At a tasting, many thanks Shachar, small stable head, hazy lemon colour with orange taints, aroma is a melange of highly aromatic fruits - mango, guava, apricot, peach and some mandarine and orange in the back with hints of spice and saddle leather, strong lingering citrusy bitterness with peach and apricot and a touch of malt. Wonderfull fun beer to drink, you wouldn’t know it was low in alcohol.

I was given a 12oz bottle of this for FREE from Ruben, the wonderfully helpful gentleman working at La Cervezateca in Barcelona. My bottle is clearly labeled at 2.8% abv. Pours a hazy yellow with a frothy, lacing white head. A quick look into the bottle shows that it’s bottle conditioned. Alright... If my Spanish is correct, the bottle claims that whole hop flowers were used and the nose really shows it. Strong aroma or earthy, lightly piney noble hops with some sweetness lingering in the background. Flavor is lemons, grass, very light candy sweetness, a little stale bread. Lasting bitterness, light mouthfeel. Finish is like a watery IPA. If this is their take on a pils then bravo. A session beer for sure, but even at 2.8% abv there’s plenty of flavor.

Cloudy pale blond color. Nice grapefruit and passion fruit aroma; Nelson Sauvin? Dry and weak mouthfeel, but actually it fits quite ok with this thirst quenching brew; very bitter finish, with some fuits and resins. Pleasant.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is crisp citrusy and light peachy. Bitter, citrusy and peachy flavoured. Vague fruity sweetness yet rather dry into the finish. Dry and hoppy finish. Nice with the hops - although hops alone doesn’t make it.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Very citrusy hops in the nose. Thin body, all citrusy hops that leave a solid bitterness. Very hoppy throughout. Delicious and quenching light beer. 301109

At GBBF 2009. Good lemony aroma. Bitter. Hazy pale gold. Surprisingly good, bitter finish is great and this was probably the surprise of the festival.

Bottle at GBBF 05-08-09 Pours golden with a slight haze and with a small white head. Aroma is hoppy with some grapefruit showing. Get lemon in mouth initially but then note that its more like pithy grapefruit, nicely bitter with good length, quite a stunner for the abv. A7 A3 F7 P4 Ov14 3.5
