Tap at Wild Honey. Opaque orangeish golden pour with a white head. Nose is light caramel, bread, pine and citruses. Taste is sweetish and somewhat spicy grains upfront, there’s caramel, bread and hay alongside with rye. Then it turns quite bitter quite quickly, showing pine, citruses and grassy notes. Closes with a bittersweet finish, has a medium to big body and soft carbonation. Decent, if not quite sophisticated.

27/4/2024. Bottle shared at fonefan Ulfborg tasting. Courtesy of Mario, cheers! Pours hazy/cloudy amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is malt, rye, biscuit, tropical fruit, orange, touch herbal and piney. Moderate sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Enjoyed this, best of the Malta beers we had today.

Bottiglia.

2nd August 2023
GBBF Day 2. Keg. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, trace of rye spice. Modest and ripe orangey citrus. Light semi dry finish. Lacks a bit of oomph.
