Bouteille verte, 12,7 onces, de et avec Luc Bourbonnière (merci!), chez Sébastien Bertrand, savourée le 4 juin 2022; œil : brun foncé, semi-opaque, demi-anneau de mousse beige, très légère dentelle; nez : mûre, acidité, vinaigre balsamique; bouche : mûre, acidité, vinaigre balsamique, léger boisé, léger tanin, très léger boisé, finale en vinaigre balsamique, corps moyen, carbonatation moyenne, moyennement sucrée, texture légèrement tannique; en résumé : belle surprise

Bottle: Poured a black color ale with a small foamy head with minimal retention and light lacing. Aroma of sour notes with light roasted malt and blackberry notes. Taste is also a mix of blackberry notes with some roasted malt and tart/oak notes with no acidity. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable dark sour with enough complexity.

A dark reddish brown ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light Brett, light lactic notes, light dark fruits, pleasant. In mouth, sweet caramel malt with dark fruits, light Brett, light lactic notes, pleasant.

Bottle at the blizzard tasting in D’s place. Pours a brown almost tan color with a medium white head. A big nose of barrel, brown malts, molasses. A smooth tart Old Bruin flavor with wood, sawdust, light cherries, molasses and caramel, sweeter in the finish. Good.

Bottle. Pours a hazy dark brown with a brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of dark sour fruits with a bit of backing dark grains. Flavor begins with sour dark fruit that last throughout and has a combination of sour fruit, dark grains and oak in the finish.
