Can, from Whole Foods Upper West Side, Manhattan. Pours clear pale yellow with a large whitish foamy head, faint grassy hops, medium carbonation, mildly bitter malty taste with grassy hops, thin body, medium finish. Not as crisp as expected.

Clearish gold pour from 12 oz can. Crispy sweet malts, pretty mild hops, pretty good

From a 1$ can off the clearance rack. Pour is totally clear pale. Nice white foamy head that stays for awhile. Typical pils nose, perhaps some fresh hay and you can almost smell the pilsner bite. First taste impression is that its strong on the pils style sharp bitterness. Each swig is followed by a lasting, almost plenolic, bitter set. Seems a little strong for a well behaved pilsner. Needs some manners when compared to the real stuff from across the ocean. Decent level of carbonation but could use a little more. Sharp bitter pils bite builds thru the middle. Does not grow on me, becomes more difficult as the session continues. Ending feels like that phenolic bitterness builds to an apex. Finishes with the impression that I probably will not get another one of these. There, you have the tick.

Pour is a cloudy gold with a large effervescent white head. Aroma is wet dough malt with a peppery hop. Flavor is more doughy malt, with more spicy and peppery hop finish. This was quite well done

Can pour. Poured a very slightly hazy yellow color with a small, white, slightly wispy head. Aroma was nice wheat, grain, grassy notes. Some decent hop, light spicy grain notes, light cracker.

On tap at First Draft - Chicago, pours a clear blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out crisp crackery malt and grassy hops. Flavour is well-hopped, with crisp grassy hops, some spiciness, and crisp crackery malt. Crisp, vibrant and well-hopped. Very good.

Three Floyd’s beer rating number 25! 12 ounce can. Honey gold pour is topped by a pillowy white head. Fresh, grainy malt aroma hints at cut grass and hay. Some floral hops, as well. Flavor follows nose. Added notes of honey and lemon zest. Soft, creamy mouthfeel is pleasant. Quite enjoyable and a distinct departure from my previous experiences with the Three Floyds brewery selections.

Clean, easy-drinking, and crisp, with a grainy semisweet front and a mix of apple, lemongrass, and floral notes on the back end. Could use a little more bitterness in the finish; not sure I’d name it a Pils in a blind tasting. Still, quite tasty.
