12 oz. can. Pour is murky bronze with a short-lived off-white head. Aroma is wheat with banana and clove notes. Taste follows nose, with some citrus present and perhaps some white pepper as well. Finish is tangy and sweet.

Bottle. A- Banana, bubble gum, spice. A- Yellow color, cloudy liquid, minimal head. T- Banana, bubble gum, cloves, coriander, spices, wheat. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, spiced finish. O- Who says a wheat beer has to be dull and unflavorful. Certainly not COOP Ale Works. Okay, so it is considered a Hefe and you can tell. I thought it balanced well but yet the aftertaste was a little off. First sip was good incorporating all flavors but the after effects left you with a lot of spice and wheat. All in all, it was quite fair.

Can. Pours cloudy gold, very small white head, dissipates quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is wheat, banana, clove, hay. Flavor is light sweet, very light bitterness, wheat, banana, bubblegum, cloves. A bit of astringence, perhaps spiciness. Medium body, creamy, perhaps a bit chalky, mouthfeel. Low carbonation in general. Not bad.

On tap at Tapwerks. Pours a cloudy, thick dark yellow with a thin off white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of banana with backing sweet wheat. Flavor is similar with sweet wheat and bananas throughout.

On tap at Tapwerks OKC. Pours a cloudy yellow with frothy white head that lasts awhile. The aroma is a yeast banana and citrus. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet hop and citrus taste and lemon zest with a nice clean finish. A good hefe from Coop.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with an orange tint and a very thin slightly off-white head. Aroma of wheat, light citrus, very mild spice and a touch of hops - not much though. Medium-bodied; Nice wheatie flavour at the beginning with spices coming through and a dose of yeast near the middle. Aftertaste shows a mild wheat flavour with a subtle fizzy floral taste - not much going in here at all. Overall, a nice local wheat to try, but definitely on the lower side of the taste spectrum for the style. I sampled this beer on draught at TapWerks in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 02-September-2009.
