La Réserve Royale “Blonde” is the essence of our savoir-faire. This beer of brilliant gold straw colour is a very clean and balanced artisanal blonde beer with a great aromatic profile of Belgian origins. The top-fermentation and the refermentation in the bottle bring out a rich and creamy mouthfeel with intense flavours of floral hops that perfectly blend with subtle touches of yeast.

Produced using 100% Belgian and local ingredients, Réserve Royale ‘Blonde’ was created at a pioneering brewery in northern Belgium. It is brewed from the best malts in the world and a blend of aromatic hops produced by small family operations that place the emphasis on quality and tradition. Unlike industrial beers that are produced by bottom fermentation, Réserve Royale is brewed by top fermentation – a traditional technique that is seen as a sign of quality and is easily recognisable to connoisseurs. Once bottled, the beer is fermented again for 20 days in a dark, humid room heated to 25°C. The bottles are then left to rest in cool surroundings to complete the beer maturation process.

Bottled (Alko Web). Hazy goldeny orange with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity, some spicy and mild berry tones. Flavour is Belgo spicy yeast with some floral, fruity and some mild sweet malty tones. OK, but hmm, quite standard, considering the Royale

75cl bottle (bottled 25. 11. 2019, BBF: 12/21) from Delhaize Chazal in Brussels. F: huge, white, long lasting. C: shiny pale gold, light hazy. A: rich malty, mellow fruity, honey, floral, peach, bit spicy. T: medium malty base, floral, fruity, honey touch, decent bitterness, peach, bit herbal, medium to high carbonation, not bad yet one could expect something more from beer for 19,5€ from supermarket

Thnx to Peter . Pours unclear blonde. Good white head. Smell is bit hoppy, very mild, not that aromatic. Some yeast, very Belgian.bit sweetm taste is bit bitter at first. Very yeasty, some plastic ( too high temp in the fermentation ? ) overcarbonated. One of the nicest looking bottles ever ( ingraved complex golden drawing on a clear bottle , in a thick cardboard, temperature controling box with goldfoil ornaments. The bottle looks like a crossover between whiskey and champagne, but taste like a lesser quality belgian ale...

Bottle (shared by kairi, thanks). Pours golden. Aroma is sweet, cardboard, some citrus. Flavor is sweet, cardboard, malt. Finish is dry bitter. Carbonation is high. Overall: smells and tastes like lager, are we sure it’s not random pale lager in fancy bottle?!
