Our Grunion Pale Ale wasn’t born on a beach, but in a backyard. Originating from an employee-only home brew contest, this award-winning hoppy pale ale is named after the tiny local fish known for late night frolics on shore. A pair of new hop varieties lend strong yet balanced summer melon aromas and herbal flavors, while a soft caramel malt sweetness holds it all together.

Can @ Saxo tasting. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - fruity. Flavor is medium sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 230719

Can. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, malt, hops, flowers, hops and has a sweet hoppy finish.

355 ml can, as Ballast Point Grunion IPA, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 5.5%. Slightly gushing can. Slightly hazy orange colour, large white head. The aroma has distinct notes of pine, also notes of grapefruit. Pine / resin and grapefruit in the flavour too, a sharp bitterness in the finish. A slight sweetness of crystal malts.

Can from Systembolaget Uppsala. Pours gold. Hoppy character on a nose. Tastes medium bitter, hoppy, some fresh fruits in the end. Long bitter tail. Tasty.

Pregnante og inviterende dufter stiger mot nesegrevet idet jeg spretter denne 0,355 boksen fra helsekosten på Kvaddå. Her er det tyedeligvis bare å glede seg! Og gleden blir ikke mindre etter første slurk - dette er virkelig raske leker, med tonnevis av tropiske frukter, fersken, mild grapefrukt og behagelige toner av furunål/granskudd. Lekker bitterhet i avslutningen, som også har et betydelig innslag av mersmak. Et mesterbrygg som beviser at saftige, smaksrike øl ikke trenger å ha et grumset NEIPA-utseende.

Som Grunion IPA. Varm gyldenbrun. Nesten klar. Veldig høyt luftig skum som daler veldig sakte. Pen lacing. Aroma av overmoden fersken. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken tropisk frukt. Tørr, svakt bitter ettersmak.

Caña en el Taxman León 10..04.. 2019. (r605). Color amarillento de tonos dorados velados con espuma blanca. Sabores frescos maltosos von buena dosis de herbales y lupulados maduros que resultan algo secos al final. Amargo seco lupulados final. Cuerpo medio con bastante sabor, seco lupulados, resinoso final. Bastante buena, para repetir.
