Bottle at RBESG ’14, day 4 not so grand tasting at Craft Clerko, 10/08/14 from an IP trade if I recall correctly. Hazed reddish orange with moderate light crimson spotting and edgework. Nose is tarte red berries, acidic notes, touch of must, dank wood, funk, light bretty waftings. Taste comprises tangy red berry mash, soured raspberries, tarte berry jam, nice acidic twinge. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tarte berry close with a bretty wash. Nice well balanced red berry sour.

Bottle - Tart and funky raspberry with some Brett. Cloudy orang with almost no head. Vinegar tartness and some raspberry in the finish. Tartness is throat prickling and excessive.

Bottle at RBESG 2014. It pours cloudy rose with a small white head. The nose is oak, earth, funk, raspberry, spice, musty and farmyard. The taste is crisp, tart, acidic, wood, raspberry, earth, hot, tangy fruits, sherbet, jam and good mouth-pucker with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice tart acidity. Tasty in small pours...

Reviewed from notes. Bottle share with (Myrick, BA), February 2013.
This was poured into a chalice and a tulip.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy red color with a one finger white foamy head in both glasses. The lacing slid quickly right on into the beer as it doesn’t stick around for barely anything.
The smell had a fair amount of tart to sour raspberries really pounding my nose into submission.
The taste was sour and extremely bitter, mouth puckering that lead into an extremely pummeling bitter and dry aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body and didn’t have much of a sessionability about it. I think it was just too dry ’cause after I was done drinking this thing I just pounded at least 2 gallons of water.
Overall, well, its a sour ale, what does one expect? To me, I have yet to find one that I can \"really\" get into. This is just an over rated style.

Location: Bottled shared by Pinsky at dbarnold's, 5/25/14

Aroma: The aroma has some sweet raspberry, tart notes, and some wood as well
Appearance: It pours a reddish color, leans beige-brown, with a beige head and decent lace
Flavor: The flavor is much like the nose, quite sweet, wood, and some tart fruit
Palate: The body is medium, it has a bit too much carbonation, and a slightly sticky finish
Overall Impression: I thought that this beer was a pretty good example of a sour/fruity beer, but not a great one.

Bottle @ Brent’s house, courtesy of FooFaa. Thanks so much! 2009 vintage. Murky, maroon appearance with a small, off white head. Nose is full of sweet, tart raspberries, lightly acetic, vanilla, coconut, light oak flavor. Fairly tart, thick raspberry jam, chewy berry, vanilla, fairy funky, tasty, refreshing sour. Super smooth for the abv and the raspberries are still very bright.

Säuerlicher Antrunk mit geringer Süße. Deutlich nach Himbeeren, die Säure wird aggressiv. Dennoch ist das Bier rund, Essignoten. Dann intensiver nach Himbeeren, rau. 9/11/12/11/9/11
