Bottle. Pours a surprisingly dark color - more of a brown with red highlights than anything. Head is minimal and aromas are dull and sweet, with little to offer beyond some brown sugar, a bit of date/fig fruitiness and washed out hops. Flavor is similar. Not inspiring, but not bad, either. Pretty malty sweet, though.

12oz bottle-pours a rich retaining tan head that laces and amber color. Aroma is resin/citrus, medium malt-brown sugar. Taste is medium malt-brown sugar, secondary resin/metallic hops, alcohol. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 for picking this out.

Draft @ the Brewery taproom. Pours a reddish color with a small off-white head.Has a malty hoppy aroma with some hints of grapefruit. Malty hoppy flavor with some hints of caramel. Has a sweetish malty hoppy caramel finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

bottle - Pours hazy amber with a medium sized head. It has a mostly caramel malt aroma. The flavori s caramel malt sweetness with a good bittering hops balance. All in all it’s a fairly good session ale but no more.

This beer came in my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy red-amber color with a medium sized orange-tan head. The aroma was tangy, sour and lightly fruity. The flavor was bitter and nutty with fruity and floral hop notes. The finish was sour and bitter.

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes primary notes of over ripe fruits as well as a light touch of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe peaches and prunes, leading to a dry slightly bitter finish. The body is too light, but the aroma and flavor reminds me of a Barley Wine. 12oz bottle pours murky copper with tan head. The aroma is crystal malts, faint caramel, molasses, toffee and faint dark fruity esters mixing with a hint of pine hops. This has a tasty malt flavor with roasted to highly roasted malts, crystal malts and to a lesser extent sweet molasses followed up by mild vague hop bitterness.

Pour is a dark red with a small white head. Aroma is of sweet caramel malts with a touch of hops. Flavor is almost the same. Lots of sweet malt with an citrus aftertaste from the hops. This wants to be an American strong ale really bad but i does not quite make it. Still this is an ok ale to drink on a rainy night.

This beer is a dark cooper color with a medium thin orange-beige head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing. Citrus fruit, toffee and malt in the nose, dominated all the while by moderately bitter hops. Medium-bodied and somewhat dry with resiny hops and toasted malt flavor, along with touches of citrus and pine. The finish is equally malty and hoppy. Above average all around.
