Aggressively hopped against a backbone of pale and Pilsner malts. Citrus and pine aroma, flavor, and a dry finish defines this American IPA.

US pint at Philadelphia airport on 8th March 2025 while waiting for a connection to Miami. Looks like a Pilsner, clean golden body and a fast fading white crown. Hop forward with a fairly sharp citrus bite and bitterness.

Lime and grapefruit. Clear golden pour with decent head. Bitter end with some hop tang. Lacks crispness of great west coasters IPAs.

On tap at Local in the Philly airport. Orange with a small beige head. Orange peel and grapefruit aroma. Flavor is orange peel, light caramel, light candied orange. Meh. Not worth the $9 tick.

Nice clear coloured copper and bronze body with a solid three centimetre tall just off-white, rather soapy head. Aroma of grass, hay, light earth, some nuts and a healthy dose of flowers and malt. Medium-bodied; Assertive malt characteristics at first with some nuts, earth and a smooth, but noticeable floral and great bitterness from the hops that shows a deeper and more nutty finish than I expected, but still nice and well-rounded with the hops showing through, but the nuttiness and pure maltiness make this far removed from a traditional 'west-coast' IPA. Aftertaste is rich and deep with a lot of nuts and malt support, and perhaps more than the relatively mild hop notes that do show through and only seem to have some pepper, flowers and light citrus with a touch of pine as well. Overall, a decent enough beer, but nothing special in terms of an IPA or especially an east-coast produced West Coast IPA, which definitely didn't work for this one. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Joe Canal's in Lawrenceville, New Jersey on 22-June-2019 for US$3,19 sampled in my hotel room here in Lexington Park, Maryland on 18-September-2019.

Pours a somewhat hazy dark amber from a tap. Not much aroma, pine and vomit, somewhat similar flavor. Okay beer.

Bottle Bar East, Philadelphia can: this can is a little bit old. Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is floral and lightly fruity and malty. Taste is sweet and flowery and a bit malty but maybe because it is a little on the older side.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with medium creamy white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is tropical fruit, mango and tangerine. Medium mouth, juicy hop, mango, grapefruit, light bitterness, crushable, very good.
