Can from Mr. 10% himself, BarleywineDave. Brewed 6/29/22. 4.5% abv. Goblet @home. Hazy, pale wheat gold. Frothy bleached, lathery head. Soft, more than subtle wet smoke. White grapefruit pith, malic acid, faint yogurt, Sidra funk, salt. Complex but not super obvious. Meaty, thin smoke & sweet n sour apples. This is fun. Juicy dessert & tart apple sweetness, thin skin, hay, salt. Lime juice & lactic acidity that eventually mellow out for the compact meat smoke to finish it off. Smoke & acidity linger on. Almost Mezcal-ish. Starchy, great acid, appetizing, just tart enough. Heavier than anticipated. For me, the lower abv worked. Cheers.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell during the 5th Friday $5 Fest, My Little Kitchen Truck + Special Tappings event on 08/31/2018. Cloudy yellow-straw color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lace. Aroma of apple, wheat and smoked malt. Light-bodied with flavors of apple, salty citrus and smokey wheat. The finish is fruity with an apple aftertaste. Decent overall.

A hazed blonde Gose with a thin white head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with light peated notes, light Epsom salts, pleasant. In mouth, a nice tart mix of light apples, light lemony notes, light peated notes, burned wood, very nice. On tap at brewery.

On tap at Arizona Wilderness, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out a lovely mix of medium smokiness like from a fire pit, along with toasted apple and some citrus. Flavour is taken over by the smoke upfront, followed by a lacto kick and a touch of subdued apples. Citric, yogurty finish. Really unusual but it works.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a murky brackish glowing grapefruit fruit juice papery golden body that supports a near white head of foam. Man they serve ales here too cold. The aroma starts off rather muted due to the low temperature. I get soft smoke, some tart citrus, mild bready cracker and a dash of salt. The taste begins with a rush of citrus like lemon and grapefruit zest tartness rimmed perfectly by a contrasting soft smokiness and growing mild apple fruitiness. Around the edges lurk some salty notes. I can drink this all the time.
