Pours amber with a fluffy white head. Aroma of Amarillo, guava. Taste has very well layered notes of pine and citrus, slightly herbal, fruity, some pepper. Palate has cedar, pine, extremely well balanced citrus hops and dry malt, mildly resinous finish. Excellent.

Golden colour. Aroma a bit soapy. Smooth. Has an interesting tang. I miss some hoppiness.

Tap at the Assembly Rooms, Solihull. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a dry mineral, malt, hop bitter, light toothpaste palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied witn soft carbonation.

Bottle. A- Citrus, piney, orange, subtle spice. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Piney, bitter, citrus, spices, spruce. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, hoppy meaty finish. O- Had it about a month after best by date so naturally it wasn’t optimal. Quite hoppy and good amounts of citrus with a little spice. The finish had a little bit of a meaty flavor but it wasn’t bad. I wanted to love this but only ended up liking it. All in all, a decent beer.
