Clear maroon color, tan edge head. Aroma of softly roasted coffee grounds. Taste is brown bread, subtle cocoa & coffee.

5/VII/14 - bottle @ Zomerbierfestival (Mechelen) - BB: n/a (2014-774) Thanks to Travlr for sharing today's beers!
Clear dark brown beer, small fizzy beige head, unstable, non adhesive, dissipates quickly. Aroma: liquorish, aniseed, caramel, sugary, way too much black liquorish. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: lots of liquorish, caramel, bit sour, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: bitter and hoppy touch, very spicy, liquorish and aniseed.
