Bottle. Blonde, hazy. Tangerine and a hint of flowers in the aroma. Yeasty flavor with grapefruit, lemon and just a hint of perfumed floweriness. Potentially a nice fruity ale with some distracting by-flavors.

Not very special blond beer, has some fruits like citrus and is quite dry. Nice, but not Alvinne’s best.

Hazy amber beer, almost cloudy. Light crispy palate. Dry wheaty malt with an apple streak, bitter tangerine and sublte banana. Finishes with dry wheaty malt, bitter. Doesn’t hang together for me.

Weird pale colour, bit muddy and chunky. Big white head. Smells like chinese food, weird, not nice. Tastes sour, weird, yeasty, sharp. Too much carbo for me. Not my beer.

Is it me or do all Alvinne beers have very high carbo and therefore (when they don’t explode) always a huge lively head? Seems this way to me. Average appearance, smell and taste with a light sourness in it. And way too much carbo off course.

Bottled 330ml (Bier Tempel, "Alvinne Lex’ke")
Slightly hazy color, huge (typical Alvinne) cloudy head, lace. Dry yeasty, hoppy aroma, some peach. Medium-bodied. Yeast dominates otherwise fruity flavor. Sticky alcoholic sweetness too with bitterness in the finish. Foamy mouthfeel. Feels stronger than 6.3%. Leaves kind of sour aftertaste. Just average.

Mostly clear amber to orange beer, towering off-white head, long lasting and adhesive. Aroma: yeast, sweet malts, touch of alcohol, herbs and grasses. MF: nice sparkling, medium to full body. Taste: sweet and roasted malts up front, then hops and spices. Aftertaste: dry, spices and herbs, hops, lemony touch. general roasted malts flavour throughout the whole beer.
