Intense acidic sour aroma, purple color. Taste is tart berries, sour acid, mild sweetness underneath. Red fruit wine finish.

2017/18 bottle, no date. Basement rest till a couple months ago when it got popped in the fridge. Goblet @home. Purty inch of somewhat dense, lingering, off-white foam. Clear, magenta or pale blackberry juice. Strong, fumey, sour fruit, veg, wood, acetone. Quite sour & tart. Grape bubble gum & a whole lot of bold blackberry/concord grape skins. Leafy, lime juice, sour berries, glue, lactic acid, delicious tannins that act as a life preserver in a sea of acid. Was this jammy when fresh? Need more of this.

On tap at the brewery. Pours purple red. Blackberry, cherry, mint, yoghurt, tart. Medium body. Decent.

Bottle thanks to Phil. Pours a cloudy purple with medium pinkish white head. The aroma is strong berry, funk, oak, yeast. Medium body jammy, berry, lacto, funk, dry finish, good.

Refrigerated 0.5 L brown bottle poured into a glass. Beautiful rich clear red with medium slightly pink head. Aroma is red wine, medium body, lower carbonation, and some lacing. Taste is red wine, oak, some blackberry and dry finish.

Sample at the Funkatorium. The beer pours a dark reddish-mahogany color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of oak, berries, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart berry, vinous oak, yeast and malt. The finish is sour berries and oak. Good beer overall.
