Bottle: Poured a deep pink/purple color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma dominated by Myrtille with some cough syrup notes which I didn’t particularly enjoy. Taste is also dominated by some strong notes of Myrtille with some notes of cough syrup also noticeable. This was a very weird mix and not one that I particularly enjoy.

33cl bottle. Pours rosée with pinkihs/rosée head. Aroma is of blueberries. Altough the bottle indicates only 1.7% blueberry juice, the taste seemed a lot stronger. Taste was sugary blueberry, malty and hoppy (lightly sour) and lightly floral. Beer gaine din flavor with temperature. Grains, wheat followed by the blueberries. Not a bad beer.

Hazy red with big light pink head. Flavour not as intense as I had imagined. Reasonable flavour of blueberry, not too sweet. Slightly soapy edge on the finish.

Flip-top bottle. Opened with spray. Blueberry aroma all over. Tamed with a towel. Dark reddish color with no remaining head. Smells a bit jammy - not like the fresh spray upon opening. Begins quite tart. Near medium body with crisp carbonation. Just had chocolate. They do not go well together. Flavor is bitter blueberry. Likely an acquired taste. I’ll work on that. Finishes dry, bitter, with a sour note.

On tap at ZBF 08. Beautiful clear red with lasting pink head. Real blueberry aroma, bit of sourness. Bit of chalk, but the fruit is stunning, not too sweet. This is great and I wasn’t expecting that much.

Dark, red copper color. Mild aroma of beer and fruits. The mouthfeel is smooth, the flavor is horrible, too bitter, which clashes with the fruits. Undrinkable for me.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy red with a pink head. The aroma is immediately noticeable from the distance, blueberry distinct sweet to citric. Flavour is blueberry distinct, neither sweet nor citric but more dry than anything. Good, and great even.

Bottle at Københavnske Øldage. Dark, red, with a nice, dense, pink head. Raspberry, blackcurrant, strawberries and offcourse blueberry in the aroma, mostly blueberries, and there’s a little spice-hint as well. Berries, sugar and some spice in the flavor. Quite fizzy, and lightly sweet in the mouth. Too much berries and too little else in this one, but it is refreshing. (070512)
