Bottle at le mondiale 2011. Another sweet syrupy fruit beer. Tastes like blueberry pie filling. Just a sweet juice/beer sugar bomb. Pass!

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a cloudy purple with big off white frothy head, nice lacing. Berry, herbs and laundry powder aroma. Taste has a moderate berry fruitiness, light tartness, grains, sweetness and floral bitter hops. Medium bodied, light stickiness, semi-drying. Good balance to it and the beer element is not lost here although the fruit addition lacks a certain freshness or juiciness to round it off.

Flip-top bottle on 22nd October 2024, in Cafe Botteltje (Ostende). Purple body with a ruby hue, the head a white affair. Blueberries rule the roost here, liked it!

hazy brown colour with some reddish hue, huge dense ruby-ish white head; aroma of blueberry, blue grape juice, and some citrusy notes; taste has the similar notes as can be felt in the aroma with some bitterness and syrupy sweetness; not that good

Fles gedeelt met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel roodbruin bier met een dun schuim. Het heeft een moutige wat zoete geur. De smaak is moutig, fruitig en bessenachtig.

330 ml swing top bottle. Pours a very dark mahogany with moderate head. Aromas of fresh berries and tropical fruit. Flavors of muddled fruit and malts - more on the raw wet malts. Acidic and acrid. Not my cup of tea.

(Bottle, Delirium Café, Brussels, 26 Oct 2014) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity nose with blueberries, caramel and dark fruit. Fruity, malty taste with notes of blueberries, dark fruit, caramel and a sweet finish with a fairly low bitterness. More than medium body, quite sweet. A bit weird, a touch too sweet with lots of blueberries. Still fairly tasty and quite enjoyable.

Top-fermented fruit beer with blueberry juice. Loose, lilac, unstable head, colour a deep cherry red with purplish hue. Aroma strongly reminiscent of red berry jam, strawberries, raspberries, elderberries and all kinds of berries one can think of, also some caramelly malt, lemon, cinnamon and pepper. Fruity, lightly malty taste, citrus-peel acidity, strong and natural fruit taste, bit of herbal hops in the finish. I liked the strawberry version better.
